How can a bakery sale help?

Depending on whether you choose to sell at a fare or in a small gathering, funds can go directly to an area of your choice. You can choose between administration costs, research, rebuilding the education system, or rebuilding the healthcare system. These are just the few. But in every sense of the word everything all adds up.

Step by Step Guide:

Step 1: Decide on the date and location. 

Step 2: Once you have the date and location set, choose the types of bakery that you are going to make or have someone else make.

Step 3: Get all the necessary ingredients. The other alternative is buying between 5-7 people from either a local bakery or super-market. We recommend baking your own. Especially if you have children they can also get involved.

Step 4: Meet with your Local Member and get a fundraising pack. 

Step 5: Start promoting. If it is a school fare, chances are the school will do a promotion. But it would be worth mentioning to the school that sales from your bakery will be going to The Alkebulan Trust. Insist on them including it in the letters they send out before the fare. If this is not the case then call everyone you know and email. Remind them the day before.

Step 6: Have fun selling. Meet up with your Local Member and they can collect the funds raised and the fundraising materials.
